String. One for the completists. Recently unearthed copies of this ground-breaking issue about string. Be aware, the covers on these copies are slightly bent out of shape – that's because we Sellotaped some string to the cover, by hand, to an original print-run of 500. That took some work. So they're not perfect. But neither is anything really, and we like the rough edges. Inside are interviews with Steve Ignorant/Paranoid Visions, Accidente, poet Dominic Berry and Dead Kennedys biographer Alex Ogg. Also features cut-out punk puppets. Interestingly, it featured an expose on Jim Ratcliffe the (much later) football club owner – this one concerned his anti-union activities as head of a chemical company. Shows we're ahead of the game.
